Here you can manage your change settings for the Shared Model and also remove it from the project.
As a project administrator, you can handle permissions for the Shared Object Model in Trimble Connect for Browser. All other applications that access the Shared Object Model will enforce these permissions. There are two strategies for assigning permissions here.
By default the entire project team has Full access.
You can:
Grant access for specific individuals or groups by selecting No Access as default for the entire project team and then granting access to selected individuals and groups by entering their names in the field and selecting the desired access level for each in the drop-down list to the right of the name.
Multiple user groups can work on one project in Trimble Connect for Browser. With permissions for the Shared Object Model, the accessibility can be restricted based on user groups, individual user accounts, or default settings applied to all users in the project.
Full Access - Users can view and edit the content of the Shared Object Model. This access level is the required level to Join the project from TC Object Manager.
Read-Only Access - Users can view the activities and content of the Shared Object Model model using the Task, Timeline, Workset and Settings pages (and Shared Object Model 3D View Extension).
No Access - This access level hides the Shared Object Model content for the users.
Note: Restrictions that come with the application's license will always override the permissions granted here.
The role project administrator always overrides these access rules so that users with that role always have Full access.
When a user has conflicting access permissions from individual assignments and/or multiple group memberships, the highest level takes precedence. This means Full access overrides Read-only, which overrides No access.
Go to Shared Object Model > Settings.
Click the User Permissions button.
Select the Full Access or Read Only Access option under the default access for project members section.
Enter the names into the Access for specific users and groups field.
2. Change access by clicking the access dropdown (shown next to the name). It is often more convenient to use groups and grant permission to a group rather than to individuals.
3. Click Save.
Click Remove to delete the shared model and all its content. Removing the extension cannot be undone.
