Activate the Shared Model

Admins with an Innovate license can activate a Shared Object Model. 

Extend the project with a Shared Object Model 

1. In the left pane, select Shared Model. 

2. Click New. 

3. In the Activate Shared object model dialog, select:

   • Type catalog

   • Type catalog version 

   • Coordinate system units - The unit of the coordinate system is determined by the selected Coordinate Reference System (CRS). The behavior of the unit selection will depend on whether the CRS includes unit information:

     • CRS Specifies Units: If the chosen CRS already defines a unit of measurement, this unit will be automatically applied, and the unit selection field will be read-only.

     • CRS Does Not Specify Units or No CRS Selected: If not specified or selected, you will need to manually specify the unit. The available options are:

       • Meter

       • International Foot

       • US Survey Foot
