Breakdown Structure Presentation

Create a Breakdown Structure presentation task if you need a permanent presentation that is stored with the model.

1. Click Breakdown Structure in the ribbon. 

2. Give the Breakdown Structure presentation a suitable task name. 

3. Select a location in the process tree, or enter a new location. If a summary task was selected before you clicked 3D, it will pick up this location. If not, it will default to the root task. 

4. The Breakdown Structure section has a dropdown list that allows you to choose between the different possible breakdown structure types in the model: 

Spatial 

Object

Classification

Network

Task

5. The second Task section is only active when Classification is selected and allows you to select which classification structure you should consider if the model contains more than one classification system. 

6. Click OK. The new Breakdown Structure window will be loaded.
